Recording artist Terry Holloman is excited to announce the release of her debut album, DNA Transformation. The innovative keyboard driven project is a fusion of Bethel style soaking worship sounds, jazz flavors, Windham Hill-esqe piano with touches of techno and urban influence. The instrumental album, with occasional vocal layering is a perfect backdrop for worship, quiet study, or prayer but with enough movement for dance, and as a soundtrack for the rhythms of everyday life.
“It is my prayer that this project penetrates the heart of the listener, and brings them to another place, a deeper connection with God”, says Terry Holloman, who is also the Founder of a unique Atlanta-based ministry called “The Mary Experience.” The name of the The Mary Experience was taken from the scripture in John 12:3, where Mary of Bethany poured the ointment on the feet of Jesus in an act of pure worship.
The Mary Experience is powerfully drawing together a growing number of men and women in downtown Atlanta from across racial, ethnic and denominational backgrounds in a unique display of unity, love and connection, which is so needed in our current day. It was created to give psalmists and minstrels an opportunity to be a voice to help people hear God’s heart through music. Much of the flow of music, song, spoken word and interaction is totally spontaneous, and releases an atmosphere of worship, freedom, joy, and deep encounters with God. This sound has been called “a bridge across denominations and races.”
Terry Holloman has also been invited to bring The Mary Experience to Los Angeles, Nashville, Detroit, South Florida, Alabama and Mississipi. In addition, she is an in demand speaker, minister and worship leader at churches, conferences and ministry events across the nation.
The album came as a response to the demand for Terry to record, but differs from the typical Mary Experience sound, as it is a more jazzy, and creatively produced demonstration of her gifting.
