Hosted by Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning, “The 56th Annual CMA Awards” broadcasted live from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Wednesday, November 9 on ABC. Sonya Isaacs of the GRAMMY-nominated group The Isaacs was a special guest on Country Music’s Biggest Night. Carly Pearce, alongside Ricky Skaggs and Sonya Isaacs, performed “Dear Miss Loretta” as a tribute to the late Loretta Lynn. Viewers may have also recognized Sonya’s brother, Ben, playing upright bass on the CMA Awards opening number with Reba McEntire, Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert.
