Gotee Records’ Ryan Stevenson has released a new album titled ABLE. This collection features eight tracks, including two pre-released songs, “Closer” and the title track. Skillfully written and crafted alongside other well-known names in Christian music, Stevenson has continued to release honest anthems that sing of his personal testimony in a setting that is musically true to his style. Each song, featuring different themes, fits perfectly into the overall message of ABLE.

Opening with a choir and ethereal synths that build into a steady beat, the title track of the album sings of who God is, not just to Stevenson, but it speaks to the truth of God’s character. Stevenson shares that no matter what you are going through, our God is “able, strong, and faithful.” As the title track of the album, this song perfectly sums up the theme of the eight songs, connecting them under the same positive message.

“Reflection of You” is all about wanting to shine the Lord’s light and look more like Him. “Just like the sun lights the moon, Lord who am I without you?” goes the first line of the chorus. As the listener is reminded of who God is on other tracks of the album, Stevenson takes the message further and encourages listeners to be a reflection of the Lord through the personal declaration in this song.

“Risking It All” takes on a different groove from the rest of the album, with sharp drum beats and catchy, fast-flowing lyrics. The song builds into a chorus that will make the listener want to get up and dance. Stevenson sings of his life as a Christian and the lessons he has learned, such as trusting in the Lord and essentially, risking it all!

ABLE is Ryan Stevenson’s fourth full-length album with Gotee Records and it is certainly one that fans won’t want to miss. Throughout ABLE, Stevenson reminds listeners of their identity in Christ, by first reminding them of the truth of who God is and finally, who God says we are. Musically, this album has pop tones and the occasional gospel undertone, while keeping things light, letting the message shine through. Be sure to stream it today!
