Micah Tyler has released a new EP, titled People Like Us. This new collection features six tracks that speak of our need for our Savior, Jesus and His goodness and mercy. The heart behind this EP is that we can all come to Jesus, no matter who we are or what we have walked through. We have a reason to praise the Lord because of his goodness in our lives.

“People Like Us” is the title track of Tyler’s new EP, which features a country sound. This song offers the positive message of the hope that we have in Jesus Christ. His arms are always wide open. Tyler sings of Jesus’ sacrifice for us. “God loves people like you, God loves people like me,” sings the first line of the chorus. Tyler reminds his listeners of the goodness and graciousness of our God.

Musically, “Praise The Lord” is upbeat, while Tyler sings of the reasons we have to praise the Lord. No matter what we walk through, we always have a reason to give God the glory and honor. We can place our hope and trust in Christ alone. The song also provides a gospel-sound with a choir behind Tyler’s vocals at times.

“Nothing Too Broken” starts off softer, with a steady guitar strum and flowing keyboard synth. In this song, Tyler sings from the perspective of Jesus, providing the reminder that even through our brokenness and hurting, Jesus is still there, walking alongside us.

This set of songs is incredibly encouraging and points listeners back to our Savior. People Like Us also showcases Micah Tyler’s signature sound that he brings to the CCM genre. Fans of his hits, such as “Different”, “Never Been a Moment”, and “Walking Free” will truly enjoy this set of songs and be encouraged by their message. Be sure to stream People Like Us today!
