Capital Kings Announces Split

Gotee Records' Capital Kings is parting ways in 2018. The EDM duo featuring Cole Walowac and Dylan Housewright took to social media to announce their disbandment.

"2017 has been one of the best years for us and we couldn’t feel more blessed," CK posted. "With that being said, we have decided that we are going to be stepping away from Capital Kings for the time being. As some of you may know, Dylan and his wife are expecting their first child and recently moved back to California. I have decided to focus on other opportunities but Capital Kings will always have a very special place in our heart. Thank you for being part of this journey and for all the memories the past 5 years, you guys mean the world to us! Much love, Cole & Dylan."

Capital Kings' sophomore release, II, peaked at No. 2 on the iTunes Dance album chart in the United States and topped the chart in Central America countries. The album also produced two No. 1 Hot AC/CHR singles in a row for the tracks "Into Your Arms" and "Believer." Since their 2015 release, CK has released a few singles including "All Good," "Don't Wanna Wake Up" and "Love Is On Our Side."
