Homeless Choir Treats Newsboys & Danny Gokey To Emotional Performances

The 8th Annual Rock & Worship Roadshow featured powerful performances and life changing testimony. But, some of the most emotional moments of the tour may have occurred off stage. When making a stop in Baltimore, MD the Newsboys and Danny Gokey were introduced to a homeless shelter choir. Helping Up Mission's purpose is to serve up to 500 disadvantaged men in the Baltimore area facing drug addictions and poverty.

Danny visited the facilities and lead worship at the shelter during their Sunday service. The event was organized by IMPACT Collective and the Meant 2 Live Foundation.

The homeless men were then brought to the Royal Farms Arena for VIP treatment ahead of that night's sold-out concert. The Newsboys' Michael Tait and Duncan Phillips were overcome with emotion during a performance of "We Believe" backstage.
