Just days after Alan Powell announced his exit from Anthem Lights, rising star Spencer Kane has been named the newest member of the Christian pop group.
Spencer Kane arrived on the music scene in 2011, although as young as 5 he was singing along to Christian music and recording lip synch videos. He scored back to back nominations in 2012 and 2013 for Indie Pop Artist of the Year at the AI Music Awards in Los Angeles. And, the release of his debut album, Runway, earned him the designation of Billboard's Best Emerging Artist in December 2014 as well as a nomination for Best Underground Artist at the We Love Music Awards. Additionally, as part of a performance contract with Nashville's iShine, Spencer is a regular on the tween TV Sitcom "iShine Knect." This past year, he hit the road for The 2015 Millennial Tour, and will be featured alongside other touring artists in God's Not Dead 2, due to hit the silver screen on April 1, 2016.
Kane and the rest of Anthem Lights have wasted no time in collaborating and released a Justin Bieber medley shortly after making the announcement. Spencer also released a teaser of his new album, Kane, due out this spring. Watch both of these videos below and stay tuned for more from Spencer here on TCB!
