Rend Collective Releases New Christmas Album

Irish celebration band Rend Collective released their second holiday album,A Jolly Irish Christmas Vol. 2, this week. "Here’s the thing, we KNOW it’s early to be talking about anything to do with Christmas. If you come around our homes, we’re usually *strict* no-Christmas-music-until-December folk. HOWEVER, think it’s safe to say nothing about this year has been 'normal.' The way we see it, we could all do with Christmas cheer coming a bit early," the band shared in a newsletter to listeners.

"It's been six years since we brought out our first Christmas album Campfire Christmas (Vol. 1) and every year since we'd ask ourselves if this was the year to write the next one-- but it never felt right. Then 2020 hit, and we (like most people!) were desperate for some joy in the midst of the chaos," the band added. "We hope these songs bring you JOY, connect you with the ones you love, give you a bit of a laugh, and help fix your eyes on Jesus as the year comes to an end. And because it's 2020 where anything goes: happy (early!) Christmas!! "
