Grammy-nominated Christian singer Forrest Frank and multi-platinum secular pop musician JVKE have just released their second collaborative single. The song, titled “Christmas Morning”, marks Frank’s second holiday original since his major-label signing with 10K/Warner. It demonstrates a steady hip-hop beat with Frank rapping over the backdrop of bells and orchestral strings, while JVKE joins in later in the song. The song ends with the words, “And that was the day that Forrest Frank and Jake decided to create an entire album to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year. Welcome to ‘This Is What Christmas Feels Like.‘”
In July 2024, the two joined forces on “Never Get Used to This”, which became Frank’s first entry into a mainstream international chart when it charted at No. 39 on the RMNZ New Zealand Hot Singles chart, and in the US, appeared as the 32nd best-selling Christian song of 2024.
Frank has a history of bringing secular musicians into the Christian music scene, with songs such as “UP!” with Connor Price, “Beautiful as Ever” with Powfu, and the breakout hits “Nothing Else” with Thomas Rhett and “Lemonade” with The Figs.
