Red Street Records artist Consumed By Fire – made up of brothers Caleb, Josh, and Jordan Ward – is a musically inventive Southern pop/rock band that combines their church roots with an eclectic array of influences distilled into a sound that is uniquely their own. Growing up, when they weren’t leading worship at their parent’s church, the brothers were singing songs from James Taylor, Amy Grant, Bob Seger, Russ Raff, or The Eagles with their large musical family. It wasn’t long before the brothers found calling and their own musical voice and shortly after, Consumed By Fire was born.
In this TCB Exclusive, Caleb, Josh and Jordan share their thoughts on the success of their radio single, “First Things First,” which is the title track off their new EP due out Mar 17. The brothers talk about how this project is a tribute to their father, who passed away last year, and how his quotes to live by inspire their music. Caleb and Josh discuss their other favorite tracks on the EP (“It’s A Yes” and “Hope Says”), and Jordan previews upcoming plans for personal content to accompany a not-yet-released track about their father. Finally, the group teases to check back soon for news of summer and fall tour dates!
