The music of CAIN quickly became a mainstay at radio since their debut single, the RIAA Gold certified¬† “Rise Up (Lazarus),” was released in early 2020. Raised in Hartselle, Alabama as pastor’s kids and now residing in Nashville, CAIN – Madison Cain Johnson, Taylor Cain Matz, and Logan Cain – got their first break opening for Dave Barnes and Andrew Ripp at a show in 2012. Now more than a decade later, they’ve headlined their own tour and performed on the Grand Ole Opry stage. The group also hosted the 2023 K-LOVE Fan Awards. CAIN is currently on the fall leg of their headlining tour, the “Live And In Color Tour,” as they prepare to drop their new album, Jesus Music, on October 13.

In this TCB Exclusive, the award-winning sibling trio offers a preview of what to expect from their anticipated Jesus Music LP. They reflect on crafting the title track and accompanying music video for “Jesus Music,” which celebrates many of the most influential songs in Christian music. Logan talks about the decision to share his wife Emily’s story of encountering Christ amidst a battle with alcohol on “Windows Down.” And, they each reveal the unreleased track from the collection they are most excited for listeners to hear. Additionally, CAIN discusses the intentionality behind their ‘Live And In Color Tour,’ from the concept of inviting all in attendance to wear the same color to ensuring the spiritual health of all the crew. And finally, they dive into how becoming a parent in 2022 deepened their faith as followers of Christ.
