“Words At The Well,” the original four-episode series, is hosted by GRAMMY- nominated songwriter and artist Andrew Ripp (“Fill My Cup,” “Rescue Story”) and features songwriters-in-the-round as they share stories of faith and their hearts behind many of their hits as well as new songs. The series features David Leonard, Dwan Hill, Rachael Lampa, Wes King and Jeff Pardo. The other special component to this series is supporting emerging artists — each episode features an “empty chair” where they welcome an aspiring songwriter to come and share a song and showcase his/her music. “Words At The Well” was filmed at the birthplace of Contemporary Christian Music – Koinonia Bookstore. Located in Nashville on Music Row, the historic location was originally a bookstore, coffeehouse, and meeting place in the ‘70s and ‘80s where Amy Grant and Michael W. Smith once shared their first songs amongst many other spiritual and significant events.
