GRAMMY-nominated Bethel Music singer/songwriter Cory Asbury has released another new track. “Christ Be Magnified” is now available for download/streaming and a live performance video for the song can be viewed below.

“In the wake of yet another influential Christian leader renouncing their faith, Cody Carnes and I sat down together in a small room backstage at the Verizon Theatre in Dallas, Texas with a single mission in mind: to write a song that embraced both the difficulty and mystery of following Jesus,” Asbury shares of the meaning behind his new song. “It all began with one stanza: ‘I won’t bow to idols, I’ll stand strong and worship You. And if it puts me in the fire, I’ll rejoice ‘cause You’re there too.’ See, our faith isn’t about doing what feels right on any given day, it’s about pledging allegiance to Jesus no matter the cost. If I live, Christ be Magnified! If I die, Christ be Magnified! I’m praying this song helps your congregations dive deeper into the beauty and mystery of Christ.”

“The Father’s House,” released in January to critical acclaim, is the lead single from Asbury’s Bethel Music sophomore set, due later this year.
