It’s a truly big day for CCM mainstay and “American Idol” alum Colton Dixon.
At midnight on Thursday, Colton released dual EPs, Calm and Storm. Calm, a stripped down collection of acoustic songs, and Storm, a compilation of energetic remixed tracks, features fan favorites from Dixon’s debut release A Messenger and current project ANCHOR.
And now, Colton has just announced via social media that he is engaged to long-time girlfriend Annie Coggeshall. The proposal appears to have happened at Walt Disney World Resort’s Magic Kingdom Park, where Colton is preparing to perform at tonight’s Night Of Joy.
“She said yes!!!!!! #disneyworld #bestdayever #icried #shedidnt,” Colton shared.
Annie also confirmed the news tweeting, “I had NO idea!!! He’s the BEST. It was perfect.”
