Respected Christian songwriter, music publisher, worship leader, and coach John Chisum, the Founder and President of Nashville Christian Songwriters (NCS), a renowned Christian music coaching and resource company dedicated to empowering Christian songwriters worldwide, is thrilled to announce the launch of his latest endeavor, an exciting new podcast called All the Best with John Chisum.

The podcast, which debuts today, Tuesday, March 1, 2022, explores the intersection of faith and self-improvement. Listeners can anticipate Chisum’s unique blend of motivation and devotion, combined with a diverse guest list from all backgrounds and beliefs who have important contributions to make in the fields of self-care, mindfulness, health & wellness, diet, exercise, mindset, and motivation.

The debut episode of the All the Best with John Chisum podcast features Katie Gustafson, an Enneagram therapist and coach with a thriving practice in the Nashville area who shares her current struggle with breast cancer and how she’s using mindfulness and self-care for her own recovery.

Upcoming podcast episodes feature guests such as Australia’s Bill Lee-Emery, a corporate motivational speaker and author who has coached peak performance for skydivers, triathletes, cyclists, and golfers. Another upcoming guest is Jim Trick, a corporate motivational speaker and coach who struggled with obesity and has lost more than two hundred pounds twice from his top weight of over 400 lbs, finally keeping the weight off when he learned how to change how he thought about change.

Along with the launch of the All the Best with John Chisum podcast, Chisum is launching his new website, johnchisum.com, today. The website offers a 31-day “modevotional” email series designed to encourage, inspire, and motivate you to make the most of your life with a unique blend of motivation and devotion.

“I’ve learned that my story is power,” Chisum says of his decision to launch the new podcast. “I’ve learned that my coaching works for non-musicians. I’ve seen the songwriters I’ve coached make major life changes, advances, and turnarounds as I’ve coached them around their music. I want to bring that same transformational coaching approach to a wider audience, to anyone looking for meaning and change they can’t seem to find on their own. My coaching vision is to empower courageous change and greater self-leadership to anyone desiring to live into their greatest potential.”

Chisum is no stranger to innovation and motivation. As the founder and president of Nashville Christian Songwriters, Chisum has achieved milestone after milestone since the company’s debut in late 2015. 2021 saw changes including the introduction of a new learning hub called Kingdom Songwriters Academy, the development of the NCS online seminar “God Gave Me A Song… Now What?” for aspiring songwriters, and the 150th episode of the groundbreaking podcast Song Revolution with John Chisum, which has featured songwriting insight and interviews with guests such as Bear Rinehart of NEEDTOBREATHE, Buddy Greene, Don Moen, Zach Williams, Jason Gray, Randy Cox, Bonnie Keen, Michael Card, Francesca Battistelli, Matt Maher, Kari Jobe, Matthew West and many more.

“At 58 years old, I thought my life was over,” says Chisum as he recalls the time period before he launched Nashville Christian Songwriters. “Everything I’d been for nearly four decades had evaporated and I found myself in a deeply apathetic mindset. It was a dark time. I’d fallen into the trap of thinking I was my job or what I did in music and church ministry. When it was gone, I didn’t know how to be in the world anymore. Lost in later mid-life, I had to either rebuild or bail out. With God’s help, I’ve engaged with an even higher purpose to inspire, motivate, and coach others who may be in transition or struggling to show up as who God made them to be in every area of life.”

“I’m so excited to launch the All the Best with John Chisum podcast today,” says Chisum. “My hope is to have a broader conversation, to connect with people who have something meaningful to share with my listeners to make their lives better. There’s a powerful intersection of faith, motivation, mindset, and a healthy lifestyle that I want to explore.”
