L.A.-based worship artist Brad Alden, known for hits such as “Lord of All” (2018) and Top 20 iTunes single “Would You Believe” (2017), has released a three-song EP titled New Soul (Bridge Music) on October 4, 2019 with his wife, singer Danielle Mowry. The brand-new EP also features guitarist Tyler Logan.
“Friday October 4th is a special day for us,” posted Alden online earlier this week as he teased the upcoming release of New Soul, which he described as “fun songs celebrating an authentic life with Jesus at the center of everything.”
Says Alden: “I think this is the most fun we’ve ever had! Words can’t explain the joy we feel sharing songs that express our worship authentically. New Soul is an outward expression of who God is to us, shared with the tools and passion He gave us. We’re just trusting Him and having a blast.”
The EP features three celebratory songs—“Praise the Lord,” “Good Day” and “More of Your Love”—that will not only “make you want to get up on your feet and dance,” according to Mowry, but that Alden and Mowry expect will “change people’s minds about praise music.”
“New Soul brings a really fresh, fun and unique sound,” explains Alden. “Anywhere we share these songs, people leave smiling and singing the chorus." Logan adds, “With grooves, solos, and anthems abounding, this record will take listeners on a journey they weren’t expecting; one they’ll be glad they embarked on!”
Jake Salomon, CEO of Bridge Music stated, “I love this new project. The three songs are interlaced with one theme in common: the grace of God. Brad, with his music, has an amazing way of making people feel good and feel accepted by God. We're proud at Bridge Music to be part of this release."
The music video for “Good Day” will debut in conjunction with the EP release on Friday, October 4th. New Soul is available on iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, Pandora, Amazon Music., Vevo, Tidal and Google Play.
