Rising Artist Taylor Tripodi Stirs An ‘Awakening’ With New EP

Rising worship artist and songwriter Taylor Tripodi’s recently released 6-song EP ‘Awakening’ is more than just a collection of new worship songs. It is the heartbeat of a movement to stir dead hearts back to life through the power of God’s Spirit in worship.

This EP was born out of a period of heavy drought in Taylor’s heart. After having a vocal injury that caused her to put her musical gifts on hold, she wondered what God was doing and felt worthless without her musical abilities. After a 2-year vocal hiatus, she regained her voice, but this time with reaffirmed knowledge of her worth outside of what she could “accomplish” through music. After traveling to lead worship in the Holy Land, she wrote the title track to the EP “Awakening” as she felt inspired by the Holy Spirit breathing new life into her and reviving her broken parts.

As the inspirations for the new EP started pouring out, she took her ideas and songs with her to Nashville, TN. Working with producer Shawn Williams of Papercastle Records to bring this Awakening to life, she then began meeting with award-winning writers like Sarah Hart and Chris Clayton and together they wrote the songs that inspire the brokenness in all of us to remember the faithfulness of God.

“When the darkest moments of life settle in your soul, it’s hard to sense the presence of Christ,” shares Taylor. “But remember that you were not made for the darkness of the tomb- you were made to live in the abundant life Jesus promised- all you have to do is be open to His Spirit moving”.

Currently, Taylor has 45k active monthly listeners engaging with her content and already more than 180k streams for this new EP on Spotify. This past year, she was named one of the top 30 rising Catholic artists in the world. In her effort to bring this message of hope to the world, she will be starting the nationwide ‘Awakening’ tour this Fall to bring people together to worship and to stir this Awakening in every heart.
