Skillet Surprised With Platinum Plaque On 'Fox & Friends'

Multi-platinum selling rockers Skillet took over The Big Apple today ahead of their anticipated release of Victorious (Aug. 2, Atlantic Records). The 2X GRAMMY nominees lit up the FOX & Friends All American Concert Stage with live performances during the popular morning cable broadcast. In addition to the planned live performances, the band was surprised with the RIAA Platinum plaque for the hit single "Feel Invincible" while on air.

In addition to the FOX & Friends appearance, Skillet also was interviewed live by AOL Build today. Simultaneously, YouTube premiered the lyric video for Victorious’ third Instant Grat track “You Ain’t Ready”, which can be viewed here.

Victorious dropping will launch the band into the bustling 2019 fall season. “Legendary,” the lead rock single from the project is currently climbing within the top 20 at Active Rock radio following the PEOPLE.com exclusive premiere of its music video. “Anchor” is currently impacting Christian radio. Skillet will hit the road on August 11, kicking off two U.S. fall tours, including treks featuring Sevendust and a co-headlining tour with Alter Bridge. November 6 marks a European headlining jaunt throughout the remainder of the year, much of which is already sold out, including stops in London, Paris, Hamburg and Budapest. Frontman John Cooper recently collaborated with Z2 Comics for “Eden: A Skillet Graphic Novel” unveiling August 27.
