GRAMMY-nominated rock band RED is starting off the new year in a new way. In a video to fans on social media, Randy, Micahel, and Anthony announced they are parting ways with their record label and management teams. "We are going to be doing everything on our own and we are going to be able to do a lot of cool things that we weren't able to do before," the band members shared.
Plans are already underway to release new music directly to fans. Starting this spring, RED is hoping to release a new song every 6-8 weeks. However, fan support is needed to launch these independent efforts. If you would like to show your financial support, visit GoFundMe. A tour is tentatively set to launch in the fall of 2019 as well.
Dan Johnson, the current drummer for the band, has also been welcomed as an official member of RED.
