Singer/songwriter Staci Frenes has released a new music video for the single, “Anything Can Happen,” which is a song from her latest album, Unpathed Waters, Undreamed Shores. The video captures a live performance of Frenes at one of her favorite venues, a barn just outside of St. Paul, Minn. The venue is owned by record producer, Nate Sabin, who was at the production helm for Unpathed Waters, Undreamed Shores.
Frenes wrote “Anything Can Happen” as a reminder of the wonders of having a child-like faith. "The older we get, the easier it is to become jaded, cynical or even to abandon hope altogether,” said Frenes. “Disappointment tells us not to dream big anymore, to set our sights low. But when we choose hope over despair, the possibilities for change and growth—or even something miraculous--widen and deepen all around us."
The song has strong lyrics to support Frenes’ message of hope. When you hope/When you believe/Anything can happen/Anything can happen/When you trust/When you dare to dream/Anything can happen/Anything can happen.
The band who joined Frenes onstage are some of the most respected players in the Minneapolis music scene. These include, Aaron Tafoya on percussion, Aaron Fabbrini on bass, Luke Lavelle on electric guitar, Katie K Henrie on background vocals and Nate Sabin on acoustic guitar. Jason Gilmour recorded the video footage, and Staci's daughter, Abby, edited the video. Josh Griep did the live sound and recording.
Unpathed Waters, Undreamed Shores is available on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify and wherever music is sold online.
