2018 Gospel Radio Awards Will Air November 23 On The Word Network

OAR Radio and Sun Wise Media will premiere the second annual Gospel Radio Awards on Friday, November 23 @ 9 PM ET/ 8 PM CT on The Word Network, a faith-based cable television network that reaches homes in 200 countries. The big show is hosted by legendary producer/recording artist, Donald Lawrence, and acclaimed singer/actress, Michelle Williams.

The awards were held at The Coronado Performing Arts Center in Rockford, IL earlier this year. The hour-long highlights presentation features riveting performances and appearances by a who’s who in modern gospel music such as Le’Andria Johnson, Jonathan McReynolds, Jekalyn Carr, JJ Hairston, Sensere, Todd Dulaney, Myron Butler, Ted Winn, Latice Crawford, Tim Bowman Jr. and Motown Gospel newcomer, Gene Moore, among others.

This special evening also honors an eclectic group of gospel music pioneers. The dynamic Beverly Crawford received the Legend Award. Sister act, Virtue, earned the Milestone Award. Singer/Producer, J. Moss, took the Pioneer Award. The multi-talented, Vashawn Mitchell, strolled away with the Trailblazer Award and Bishop Hezekiah Walker took home the Gospel Icon Award.
