I Am They has officially announced the addition of a new vocalist, after the exit of Stephanie Kulla. The very talented Abbie Parker joins the group and is featured in their newest single, "Make A Way."
They shared the exciting news on social media, posting: "If you have been to any of our shows since last July, you may have noticed a new voice in the band. We are proud, honored, and pleased to announce that Abbie Parker has officially joined I Am They. She has a heart of gold and a voice to match!"
I Am They promises more new music and more videos will be released over the coming months. "Thank you so much for supporting the ministry of I Am They. We feel humbled and blessed to see how God is using these songs to touch hearts and lives around the globe," they added.
I Am They (Essential Records) made their national debut in January 2015 with their self-titled album, which produced the group’s lead single, “From The Day." The members of the band came together from several different churches in Carson City and first performed together at Solomon's Porch; a regular worship event bringing believers together from all over the city. The group was discovered at a Spirit West Coast festival "Battle of the Bands" where they won an opportunity to come to Nashville and have a song produced and recorded. In their short career, I Am They has already made their mark in the Christian music arena having opened for Matthew West, Chris August, Matt Maher, Brandon Heath, Big Daddy Weave, to name a few.
