One of the most popular annual Christmas concert tours, Joy-An Irish Christmas featuring Keith & Kristyn Getty, will be broadcast network-wide on Moody Radio on Friday, December 18 at 9pm ET (check local stations for exact times). The network will also carry an encore performance on Christmas Eve at 10pm ET.
Recorded to a sold-out audience live on 12/14 at Severance Hall in Cleveland, OH, Joy-An Irish Christmas is a lively celebration of the birth of Christ as told through an evening of traditional holiday carols, contemporary hymns, Irish folk music, bluegrass and spectacular step dancing. A special guest for this performance is noted speaker, author and pastor, Alistair Begg.
The 2015 tour is currently visiting 20 cities with performances at such prestigious venues as The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington D.C. (Nov. 30), a sold-out return to New Yorks Carnegie Hall (Dec. 11), Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto (Nov. 23), The Fox Theatre in Atlanta (Dec. 21), and the sold-out Verizon Hall at The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia (Dec. 7). Each year the tour ends with a sell-out in Nashvilles Schermerhorn Symphony Center (Dec. 22). Now in its 4th year, JoyAn Irish Christmas tour began in 2010, with a brief hiatus in 2013 as the couple awaited the arrival of their second child. By the end of 2015, more than 200,000 people throughout North America will have seen The Gettys annual Christmas tour.
