Rising hip-hop artist Angie Rose has released her latest single “Infatuation” today, an up-tempo track that tells the story of a girl who grows in personal strength and independence, as she overcomes an initially deceptive attraction to a man, by realizing those feelings were ultimately nothing more than infatuation. Highlighting her raw energy and undaunted songwriting, the single promises to become a radio staple.
“From the minute I started working on ‘Infatuation,’ it was already a favorite. It’s a rhythmic expression about an experience so many of us know so well— love gone wrong because it was never love, just infatuation. And now it’s just a dope reminder to never let it happen again!” said Angie Rose.
“Infatuation” arrives on the heels of her debut single “Fight Like A Man,” (over a million views on YouTube) and sophomore single, “Lie to Me.”
The music video for “Infatuation” was filmed in Puerto Rico, where Angie has maintained strong roots and been recognized for her unprecedented work for the victims of Hurricane Maria through her nonprofit organization, the Unstoppable Foundation, including raising money and sourcing supplies for locals affected by recent natural tragedies. With a Puerto Rican backdrop, “Infatuation” captures the authentically colorful essence of Angie Rose and her Latin background.
Angie Rose’s “Infatuation” is now available today via iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, and everywhere you get your music.
